Sandy Pond Out of the two sources of water the river breaks into, the Sandy Pond is the closest to the RiverClan Camp. It’s sandy bottom keeps the green-blue waters a little murky, and unfortunately, fish can’t survive here. But starting at mere inches deep, and only going to about a foot deep, it is a great place to train new apprentices how to swim. Moderator: Misty Grace (:

The Fish Lake The larger of the two sources of water that the river breaks into, this one is quite large. The Fish Lake gets its name from the colorful fish that seem to constantly swim in its crystal depths. It can be rather dangerous for younger cats, seeing as its set at a straight down-hill drop into water beginning about five feet deep. At its deepest, it’s about fourteen feet. The River This isn’t the same river like the one back in the old forest, this one is slightly murkier, which makes it a little more dangerous, and the bottom is littered with rocks you can hit. However, its depth ranges from four feet to well over twelve feet, and its hard to hit the floor that hard. Teeming with fish that die in only the harshest of winters, it’s a great supply of food. Stepping Stones Lying in the middle of the River, the Stepping Stones are a set of seven, fairly large rocks rubbed smooth by the constant rushing of the currant. They’re almost perfectly spaced, giving a quick and easy way to cross the River, or, for RiverClan, to sit on and fish from, or rest on after an especially long or hard swim. Plateau The largest part of the RiverClan territory, and only slightly boggy, the Plateau consists of a variety of plants ranging from weeds and grasses, to reeds and ferns in some of the more marshy areas, to full on dirt in others. It’s not a very good hunting place, as mice and voles don’t like the water underfoot, but it’s a good place to train. Moderator: Misty Grace (:
Waterfall Like the Crystal Pool, the Waterfall is a place over constant dispute. Though not nearly as bad as the continuous fighting over the old Sunningrocks, the Waterfalls contains a steady stream of fish, as well as a sandy, peaceful beach and long, large rocks to sun on. The water is crystal clear, and the steady fall of the waterfall is enough to calm anyone. Moderator: Misty Grace (:

Grassy Knoll Practically directly east of the RiverClan camp is the driest part of the RiverClan territory, the Grassy Knoll. With very little cover, you’re quite out in the open, but the tall grass is cover enough. Small rocks dot the grounds, allowing for vantage points in the myriad of green, making for an easy area for the younger cats to catch prey or train. Moderator: Misty Grace (:
Placid Lake In the western region of the previous WindClan's territory (now owned by RiverClan) lies the Placid Lake. As the name suggests; it is a very calm and silent body of water. Not far beyond the shore there is a sheer drop in the depth where the water becomes to dark to see into. Because of this, the suns rays cannot penetrate the depths, and the lake is usually quite cold. Another oddity surrounding the lake is the lack of fish within it. Moderator: ~ bluebabii !
