Though the River’s flow is strong as it dips into previous ShadowClan (now ThunderClan) territory, the dirt banks grow slippery and wet as they bend beneath the currents – creating a habitat that exists only in ShadowClan territory. The Marshlands are dark and deep, and can actually be exceedingly dangerous to untrained cats; but when traversed by skilled warriors, can be hunted easily.
