THE JOINING FORM
Here is a detailed description of the form you must fill out for EACH of your cats. The title of your thread must look like this: Name | Clan. Like Sedgestar | ThunderClan. ----- For loners/rogues please do this: Name | Loner, or Name | Rogue.
Name: This is the name of your cat and its name will stick with it forever (unless certain cases). What's in a name you might ask? Well, a cat's name should be describing him/her and should be unique but should also make sense with the outdoors. Example: Tarpaw would not work but Blackpaw would
Gender: This is extremely simple - the simpliest part I'd have to say. Your cat will either be male or female also known as 'tom(cat)s' and 'she-cats'. It's just that simple. No cat is both. It's impossible. Age: The aging process it a lot harder than the previous two things. The ages are known from kittens and apprentices, but from warriors to elders is more of a trick. Allow me to explain it better: Kit(ten)s are from 0-5 moons old. Apprentices are from 6-10(or 12 if needed). That's simple, correct? Well, warriors are from 10(or 12 for some cases) until about 6 or 7 years old. Not moons. Years. So, 7 years would be equal to 84 moons. Wow, that's old you might think. Well, seeing as these are feral cats they don't live that long so elder cats would live (at the most) until about 12-14. So, if a cat lived up to 14 then it would be about 168 moons. Ah, old age. That is the simpliest manner that I can explain the age-range to you all. Rank: The only cats that you may roleplay as are - kittens, apprentices, warriors, and elders. You may not sign up as a queen. To have kits you will need to have a mate and you would have to PM your leader about how you want to have kits and you will be on the waiting list. As a side note, if you're going to be a rogue you cannot just sign up and be banished - you have to become banished by your leader, etc., in an IC post. Clan: If you are a loner or rogue please put down either 'none' or 'n/a'. If you are a Clan cat then please put down whichever Clan that you wish to join under. The available Clans are: ThunderClan, RiverClan, and GoldenClan. Note: Check the bans frequently on the news box to find out which Clan you cannot joinDescription: This is what your cat looks like. Remember, you are not allowed to put a picture here. It must be in plain writing (or typed if you want to get technical on me) It will need to be very long to describe the exact features of the cat. Get very in-depth, I enjoy reading these myself. Must be atleast five scentences. Quick Desc.: This is a new area to help out the Clan leaders/admins. In this area you are to put down a summary of your feline's peltage as it would appear in the books. Please do not make it very long. Keep it short and to the point. Ex: Dark tabby she-cat. - credit for this goes to Mossy-chan. (Optional)Picture: If you have a picture that you'd like to use in addition to the peltage (you must have the peltage but you don't need to have the picture) then feel free to put the url to the picture here. Do not, I repeat, do not put the picture there as a picture - just put the url. Personality: This is also just a plain thing to do. It should be fairly long, along with all of the other areas, and be very descriptive. You're describing how your character acts around others, alone, and in basic situations so try to make sure that it makes sense to fit your individual character.Must be atleast five scentences. History: This should be longer as the cat gets older. 'Clanborn' is not an acceptable thing for this catagory. It must be long, descriptive, and should lead onto how they act. You can still say that they're born from in the Clan, but explain if they had siblings, what they did whenever they were younger, etc., etc. For a kit: 3-4 scentences. For an Apprentice: 5-7 scentences. For a warrior/leader/medicine cat/elder: 10 scentences. IC: The IC//In. Character. is a simple mini-post as I call it. You just demonstrate how well you can roleplay as the character to prove that you're a good roleplayer. Make your cat hunt a mouse or something that could show action. Note: You may not post something in the cat's past hereTo prove that you have read this, the biography password is: Rainbow. RANKS + NAMING HELP
Kits - 0-5 moons they are the kittens of the Clans, the newborns. They usually stay in the nursery with their nursing mothers until they reach their sixth moon in which they become an apprentice. Kits are not allowed to hunt as StarClan forbids it. - their names end in kit; always and forever.
Apprentices - 6-12 moons after a kit reaches six moons the leader will call a ceremony for the youngster. In that the leader will give the young cat a mentor that s/he will train with for six moons or until the warrior finds s/he has learned enough and shows good promise. They will train for those six moons with their mentor to become a warrior of the Clan. Their mentor will teach them how to hunt, fight, etc. Medicine Cat apprentices, on the other hand, learn about the herb lore that a Medicine Cat must know to help the healing process of a fellow cat. They will go to the Moonstone whenever their mentor sees fit and they will receive their name from StarClan there. - their names end in paw; always and forever.
Warriors - 12 moons-9 years the warriors of a Clan are the main group. They hunt, fight, and train apprentices to become more warriors. At this age they are allowed to mate as well. Whenever a she-cat bears kits she is moved to the Nursery and called a "queen". Although whenever her kits are apprenticed she returned to the life of a warrior. The warrior names are given to cats by their leader, no cat was ever allowed to choose his or her warrior name. - sample name endings: tail, leaf, heart, claw, storm, stripe, wind, fur, face, flower, ear, eye(s), pelt, foot, nose, cloud, fang, throat, poppy, brook, whisker, belly, pool, tooth, step, stream, frost, wing, shadow, shade, coat, breeze, flight, fire, ice, water, flank, neck, feet, hawk, soul, etc.
Queens - 12 moons-9 years a queen is a she-cat expecting or nursing kits in the Nursery. After their kittens are apprenticed they return to being a warrior again. - see Warriors for naming endings
Elders - app. 9 year-death these are the older cats in a Clan who have grown too old to be of assistance. They tend to linger around the dens all day, telling stories and whatnot. They are usually visited by apprentices who catch prey for them. - see Warriors for name endings.
Medicine Cat - No age specified these are the cats that work closely with StarClan. They receive dreams, omens, and prophecies from StarClan about the Clans. In addition to that their main purpose is to heal injured cats, with knowledge of herbs from the forest and such, and to also help out in any way possible. A medicine cat usually does not hunt, nor is any medicine cat allowed to have a mate or kits. Doing such a thing would anger StarClan greatly. - see Warriors for name endings.
Deputy - app. 18 moons-death a deputy is a cat who has already trained an apprentice as a warrior. S/He is given second-command over the whole Clan and tends to set out patrols, hunting parties, etc. Usually this cat is the top fighter or hunter of a Clan and would be a good leader eventually. - see Warriors for name endings.
Leader - app. 20 moons-death a leader of a Clan leads the Clan in everything. They help name kits, do namings of all of the cats, set up patrols and hunting parties, call Clan meetings, deal with out-of-Clan affairs with the other three Clans, lead the Clan in fights, etc. They have the most important role in a Clan. They had to be a former deputy before becoming leader unless an unusual case occurs (like with Nightstar). - always end in star.
Notice: Moonstone and Silverpelt are not acceptable names; "spirit" is not an acceptable name ending. Only StarClan cats can be renamed with "spirit" at the end.

NOTICE FOR OLD MEMBERS
Unless you killed them off, all of the old members that have come over must make a bio for all of their CURRENTLY EXISTING CATS. This does not mean cats that they are creating on this website. However, since you already have your character, its personality, etc, I have a simplier form - BUT you still must post it or else we will suspect that you killed off your character. You do not need to get an 'accepted!' message whenever you post this, however if we leave you a comment about something you should fix it. Here is the form for your characters: [make a note the age should be the current number of moons they are +2 more]
Name: Age: Gender: Former Clan: Rank: Quick Description: Family: Site History:
Make a note that all SC and WC cats are now part of GoldenClan - but on this form you should put down WC or SC. Family includes kittens, uncles, aunts, mate, etc. If you have no connections you can list your friends, if any were made on the old site. Also, by "site history" I mean things you cat did on the site in the past.
- for example, Mottledface was born by loners, but that wasn't roleplayed on the website. However, she was roleplayed as a leader so I could put down that she became the RiverClan leader So that should clear up everything. However, any new characters that old members make HAVE to be accepted - just the characters that you had on the former site can be posted and not have a posted 'accepted' on it before you roleplay.
